Rays of Sunshine grant ward wish for St Mary’s Hospital

Rays of Sunshine have provided specially designed caricature badges for hospital staff to help with recognition

Recently, Rays of Sunshine arranged for specially designed caricature badges to be created for the hospital team on paediatric Grand Union Ward at St Mary’s Hospital, so that the children can get to know the staff behind the mask.

Due to COVID-19, children in hospital can be even more isolated whilst receiving treatment. The badges provide a fun, but effective way of spreading sunshine to those who really need it.

We’d love to spread the sunshine further and provide badges for other wards, so if you’re a play specialist, doctor or other medical staff working on a paediatric ward and want to find out more, please email claire@raysofsunshine.org.uk
