Location:
Hybrid – Finchley, London / Home Working

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: 10-month fixed-term contract

Help grow fundraising experiences that bring joy to seriously ill children.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Rays of Sunshine at a key stage of growth and help support, develop and grow our Challenge Events and Community Fundraising programme.

As our Public Fundraising Executive, you’ll provide hands-on support across our growing public fundraising activity, with an initial focus on our expanded London Marathon programme. You’ll help recruit, onboard and support runners and challenge event participants, ensuring they feel informed, motivated and connected to Team Sunshine throughout their fundraising journey.

You’ll also support the development and delivery of our wider Challenge Events portfolio, helping to strengthen existing events, explore new opportunities and grow participation and income across a varied programme of third-party and supporter-led events.

Alongside this, you’ll support our Community Fundraising activity, building strong relationships with individuals, wish families, schools, groups and local organisations, and helping them make the most of their fundraising.

Working closely with the Public Fundraising Manager and wider Fundraising and Communications Team, you’ll support event planning and logistics, supporter communications, stewardship, volunteer coordination, fundraising progress and accurate record keeping.

If you’re organised, proactive, confident building relationships and passionate about delivering excellent supporter experiences, we’d love to hear from you. Experience in Community or Challenge Events fundraising, particularly the London Marathon or another large-scale event, would be an advantage.

How to apply

Please send a cover letter, no more than two sides of A4, explaining your suitability for the role, along with a CV to nicola@raysofsunshine.org.uk
