Why choose us?

Rays of Sunshine receives no government funding and we are entirely funded by donations, meaning we are always looking for new partners to help us carry out our work. We work closely with companies of all sizes and build long-lasting partnerships that will help us grant more magical wishes for seriously ill children.

Our dedicated Corporate Partnerships team will support you with a calendar of events, help you fundraise in creative ways and actively update you on the impact of your support.

Join us in brightening lives, one wish at a time.

How can my company get involved?

There are many different ways to get involved with our corporate partnerships.

You can:

  • Choose us to be your charity of the year: Nominate us as a charity to exclusively fundraise for a short period of time. Lockton chose Rays of Sunshine as their charity of the year in 2022.
  • Take part in cause-related marketing: Donate a percentage of your sales from a product or a service. Bird and Blend chose this type of partnership, naming us as their ChariTea of the Quarter. All online profits from the sales of their Enchanted Narnia Blend was donated to us.
  • Start a strategic partnership: Start a multi-year partnership which will enable us to work closely together. An example of this kind of partnership is Bacta, who have been a corporate partner since 2013.
  • Choose a brand-led partnership: These are formed when the charity and their partner share similar values. Smyths Toys has had a current three-year brand led partnership with Rays of Sunshine.
  • Take part in customer-facing fundraising: This is when the donation comes from the customer. The simplest way to do this is when an amount is added at till point or to a restaurant bill.
  • Give a gift in kind: Donate a product or service to the charity.

Help us grant more wishes like Oliver's

Oliver's mum introduced him to golf at 13, as a way to get him walking more following a two-year chemotherapy programme to treat his brain tumour that left him feeling weak.

For Oliver's wish, we arranged a VIP golf day at the exclusive Renaissance Golf Club in Scotland. He met and played golf with his favourite YouTubers Peter Finch and Rick Sheils and LPGA pro Catriona Matthew.
