From the moment a wish is granted, families become part of our Wish Community, and are invited to join in any of the events which take place throughout the year – online and across the UK.

What are Wish Community Events?
Our events help to bring wish families together to meet others who have faced similar experiences. They are designed to boost confidence and empower young people by offering opportunities they might not have had access to before and most importantly, have fun!
These events are free and are hosted both online and in person.
We offer a ‘relaxed’, fully accessible environment during our events so children and young people can feel fully able to be themselves whilst not being overwhelmed and share valuable time with others.
We have events taking place monthly, including exclusive creative workshops, private cinema screenings, online trips to space and the rainforest, our online choir, an annual event with Ferrari at Silverstone — and so much more. There’s something for everyone!

How do our wish community events help?
Through these events, we strive to build a wish community for the children and their families. We understand that having a seriously ill child can leave families feeling isolated — our events are designed to help you feel less alone.
Our events provide a chance for the family to have some fun and spend vital time together, as well as making new friends going through similar experiences.
Our past events have brought families together and we are looking to continue this by creating jam-packed events which are fun for the whole family.
How can sponsors and supporters help our events?
Whether it is offering give away gifts for our event goody bags, providing presents for our annual Christmas party, offering discounts (or even free!) room hire, or if you want to sponsor an entire event, we’d love to hear from you!
We can work with you to find ways we can mutually share the joy that your generosity can bring. Whether that is via social media, printed publications, on the event day, in local and national press – we will find a way to share the news of your kind donations and support, across the UK!
