Our Wish Community
From the moment a wish is granted, families become part of our Wish Community, and are invited to join in any of the events which take place throughout the year – online and across the UK.
From the moment a wish is granted, families become part of our Wish Community, and are invited to join in any of the events which take place throughout the year – online and across the UK.
Our events help to bring wish families together to meet others who have faced similar experiences. They are designed to boost confidence and empower young people by offering opportunities they might not have had access to before.
Hosted monthly online and in person, they’re free, fully accessible, and designed for children to feel comfortable and enjoy special moments with others.
From creative workshops and private cinema screenings to online space adventures and Ferrari days at Silverstone, there’s something for everyone!
Join author, comedian and TV writer, Adam Kay, who will be reading his number one best-seller 'Dexter Proctor: The 10-year-old Doctor.' A laugh out-loud fiction series about the world's youngest doctor. He will be joined by Henry Paker, the award winning illustrator behind all of Adam's novels.
This July we will be joined by digital artist and creator of @thingsivedrawn, Tom Curtis, for a fun and interactive session all about creativity.
He will be explaining the importance of embracing creativity and inspiring children to find the artistic freedom to fully express themselves, while showing some fun pictures along the way!

Through these events, we strive to build a wish community for the children and their families. We understand that having a seriously ill child can leave families feeling isolated — our events are designed to help you feel less alone.
Our events provide a chance for the family to have some fun and spend vital time together, as well as making new friends going through similar experiences.
Our past events have brought families together and we are looking to continue this by creating jam-packed events which are fun for the whole family.
Whether it is offering give away gifts for our event goody bags, providing presents for our annual Christmas party, offering discounts (or even free!) room hire, or if you want to sponsor an entire event, we’d love to hear from you!
We can work with you to find ways we can mutually share the joy that your generosity can bring. Whether that is via social media, printed publications, on the event day, in local and national press – we will find a way to share the news of your kind donations and support, across the UK!
Every donation helps us to grant more magical wishes for seriously ill children across the UK
