Christie’s for Brightening Lives
Rays of Sunshine has partnered with world-leading auctioneers Christie’s for Brightening Lives – a collection of works being sold to benefit Rays of Sunshine. The works have been generously donated by artists and will be sold within the online-only auction, First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art, live for bidding from 5 to 19 October and the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale on 16 October, both of which coincide with Frieze Week this October.
Highlights of the works being auctioned for Brightening Lives to benefit the Rays of Sunshine children’s charity include pieces by: Barnaby Barford, Bridget Riley, Damien Hirst, Edmund De Waal, Flora Yukhnovich, Gavin Turk, George Shaw, Kate MccGwire, Lucy Williams, Marina Abramovic, Sean Henry, Sir Antony Gormley, Tony Cragg and Yoshitomo Nara, along with many other notable post-war and contemporary artists.*
