Support Rays of Sunshine this World Cup

Enjoy the biggest event in football, while helping us grant wishes to seriously ill children!

Our easy-to-follow sweepstakes poster is the perfect way for you and your colleagues or friends to enjoy the World Cup, while making a meaningful difference to young people living with serious and terminal illnesses.

5 easy steps to take part

1. Cut out each team from the download below

2. Ask each participant to make a donation (we suggest £10, but any amount is welcome) to randomly draw a country from a hat

3. Keep a clear record of all participants and the country they have selected using the below wall chart

4. Once the World Cup Final has taken place, award the winner a percentage of the funds raised

5. Donate the remaining money to Rays of Sunshine

How your fundraising can help

We are reliant upon generous donations to fund our magical wishes. Here are just a few examples of the impact your fundraising could have for seriously ill children: 

  • £200 – could fund a special afternoon tea for a family to enjoy on a trip to London.  
  • £300 – could pay for a family of four to visit the Harry Potter Studios tour.  
  • £400 –  could fund for a limousine to be at a wish families disposal for the day taking the strain out of their journey and allowing them to feel like VIPs.   
  • £1,000 – could fund for every child attending our Christmas Party to get a new toy. 
  • £1,500 – could fund a wish for a seriously ill child to go to their favourite UK theme park including transportation and overnight accommodation.
