Start a multi-year partnership which will enable us to work closely together. The charity starts to become seen as integral to its partner and is factored in early to their plans. There is a sense of shared collaboration and a commitment to sustainable social change. The partner feels invested in the charity and makes it their and their staff or members mission to help.

Since 2013 we have been honoured to partner with Bacta and their members. They have generously raised over half a million pounds to help enable us to grant many more magical wishes. This was renewed in 2022 with a further pledge from Bacta to raise another £100,000 over the next two years.



Highlights of our partnership

Daisy-May’s VIP Day

VIP Days for Wish Children

Throughout our partnership, Bacta members have hosted VIP days for our Wish Children. Our most recent VIP day was hosted by Funstation for Daisy-May – she was invited for a day of fun, complete with arcade games, mini golf and lots of delicious food.


Customers are encouraged to donate any unwanted tickets that they win at the arcade. These are converted back into cash donations to Rays of Sunshine.

Cause Related Marketing (CRM)

Rays of Sunshine receives 50p from the sale of each of the four new eco-friendly soft toys with an aim to raise £10,000, thanks to our work with Bacta and Whitehouse Leisure. These plush toys can be found in arcade claw machines across the UK or can be purchased directly from Amazon.
