Are you looking to boost your teen’s confidence? Our brand-new event, Inside and Out: the confidence event for teens, could be for you! 

Being a teenager is hard – especially when you’re diagnosed with a serious illness. At our event, you’ll have the chance to grow your external confidence and improve your internal well-being through meeting others who have faced similar experiences, hear from experts, watch live demos, get involved in workshops and most importantly, have fun!  

Join us in London at the iconic OXO Tower, where you will be able to relax in a supportive environment designed to inspire and build self-esteem.

Please note: We are limiting tickets to one Wish Child, their teenage sibling and one parent/carer per family for this event, as it is specifically designed for teenagers.

Rays of Sunshine floor plan

Silvastone: UK-based musician, Silvastone, will deliver a captivating talk on the uncertainties of his life journey and his self-made career to offer inspiration.

stem4:A charity that promotes positive mental health in teenagers and young people through pioneering digital apps and online resources. 

Breathe – Arts Health Research: Breathe Magic teaches young people about the power of body language, verbal and non-verbal communication to help build confidence.

The Yoga Psychologist: Dr Stephanie Minchin will be leading holistic workshops including yoga sessions, breath work and practicing gratitude.

Pets As Therapy: A charity that enhances the health and well-being of people through access to the companionship of an animal. You’ll have the chance to meet precious pups Kolby, Charlie and Mavis at the event!  

Bird and Blend Tea Co: An independent, award-winning tea company on a mission to spread happiness & reimagine tea. As their chosen ChariTEA this year, come try a tea mocktail and experience the Rays of Sunshine tea blend.

Mindful colouring with resources from Johanna Basford: Renowned illustrator Johanna Basford, the creator of ‘Art of Mindfulness’ will be providing colouring in sheets for our guests to enjoy in our ‘Chill Zone’. 

Look Good Feel Better: Learn from trained volunteers in the beauty industry about changes to skin, eyebrows, eyelashes and nails during cancer. Onstage demos will take place during the day.  

The Little Princess Trust: A charity that provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

Face Art: The face artists will be creating bespoke face art – festival style – for our teens. 

Bracelet Making: Teens can calm their minds and get creative with this workshop where they can  create a unique bracelet to take home. 

VR Skydiving: Dig deep and find the confidence to feel the thrill and fear in this VR Skydiving experience.

Get a trim with Jose: Jose is an experienced barber who can advise on male grooming, give your facial hair a trim or get a haircut.

Nails by Mets – Multi-award-winning mobile nail technician, Metta Francis, will be offering mini manicures throughout the day.  

Lush: Learn how to make a Highstreet favourite Lush bath bomb in this creative workshop where you’ll learn about skincare and scents
