"I'd like to dance with Cinderella - because I couldn't before"
10-year-old Larna was diagnosed with leukaemia as a little girl. Instantly, her life turned upside down. Larna's condition meant she had to be isolated in hospital, far away from her loved ones, nursey and her best friend: her big brother. Her life revolved around doctors, appointments and chemotherapy, which made her feel worse, even if it was helping her.
During Larna's time at GOSH, her ward was visited by Cinderella. Some of her fellow young patients were able to go up to, play and dance with Cinderella, but because she was so poorly, Larna wasn’t able to leave her bed.
