Inside and Out: the confidence event for teens

‘Inside and Out’ is a day designed to help teenagers feel empowered, capable and supported.

You will get to meet experts from specialist charities and meet peers experiencing similar challenges, as well as enjoying fun activities and yummy food!

Take part in activities such as learning about close-up magic, getting a manicure, joining a yoga class and more! You can also chat with charities such as Look Good Feel Better, Little Princess Trust and Young Minds, to name a few.

Location: Woolwich Works, London

 

This event is free for all to attend.

*Please note: this event is for teens and tweens between the ages of 10 and 18. Siblings are also welcome to join in the fun!

Look Good Feel Better

Look Good Feel Better are a UK-wide specialist cancer support charity focused on helping people to manage the cosmetic and physical impact of their cancer treatment.

Young Minds

YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity fighting for young people’s mental health.
They offer a free, confidential Helpline service for any parent or carer concerned about a young person aged 0-25. Their website is full of advice and information to give young people the tools to look after their mental health.

Little Princess Trust

The Little Princess Trust aims to make the process of receiving a free, real hair wig as straight forward as possible for those, up to the age of 24, who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or any other condition.

Teens Unite

Teens Unite are the only organisation in the UK to provide ongoing support to 13-24 year olds, during, and after cancer. We ensure young people have the opportunity to thrive, not just survive following cancer. Through our activities, short residential breaks, and programmes, they can live positively with, and beyond their diagnosis.

Mosaic LGBT+ Young Person' Trust

Mosaic Trust aims to support, educate and inspire young LGBT+ persons aged 12-18 and 18-25 through amazing services like youth clubs, summer camps and counselling, as well as events like Pride Prom, Garden Party and Homoween.
