Here are a few of our favourite ways to fundraise:

Bake Sale

Organise a bake sale during club time in the local community – get the children involved by asking them to create and put up posters, baking, making labels, setting up and collecting donations.

Bucket Collection

Bucket collections are a really fun and easy way to raise money and spread awareness throughout the local community. You simply need to get in contact with a local shopping centre or the council, depending on the location, and get a permit to bucket collect. We’d be happy to send out any resources to help make your fundraiser a great success!

Smarties Challenge

Give all of your group a tube of smarties and challenge them to fill them up with 20p’s (which fit perfectly inside!) Each tube can hold £12, so this is a really simple and fun way to raise money and let the children think of their own ways to earn the money at home! To make it even more exciting, you could incentivise it by giving them a ‘charity badge’ afterwards to wear with pride.

We bring their dreams to life by granting magical wishes, providing services at children’s hospitals and hospices, and making sure our wish families are supported and feel part of our Rays of Sunshine family. We are committed to making our work and approach child-centred, high quality and meaningful.
