18-year-old has her greatest wish granted to fly in a helicopter

A seriously ill 18-year-old girl, from Nottingham, had her greatest wish granted when she got to fly in a helicopter, thanks to Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity and CYFOR

Amie, who is 18 years old, is currently living with rare condition, Dravets Syndrome, which causes epileptic fits and learning difficulties. She was diagnosed with this condition when she was just a couple of months old. To treat her condition, the teen is required to take medication and have regular check-ups at hospital, as well as use a wheelchair. Despite what she has been through, Amie is a very happy young girl who loves to watch helicopters when they fly overhead. Amie really enjoys spending time with her family and her wish was a great opportunity to catch up with her siblings.

To make her greatest wish come true, Rays of Sunshine enlisted the help of CYFOR so Amie and her family could have a thrilling Helicopter experience,  as well as an overnight stay in a hotel. Amie was given the opportunity to see the world from above before being flown to a restaurant for a special lunch. The wish gave Amie the opportunity to feel like a VIP for the day and to spend some quality time with her family.

After her wish, Amie’s mother Penny, commented:

“Amie had a fantastic time, she really took the whole experience in. Thank you so much Rays of Sunshine”

Amie’s wish was made possible thanks to CYFOR, the leading provider of eDiscovery, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security and Corporate Investigations.
