Our Trustee, David Joseph, the chairman & CEO of Universal Music UK and Ireland, has been recognised for his services to the UK music industry in the New Year Honours List. Joseph is awarded a CBE, Commander of (the Order of) the British Empire for services to the UK Music Industry.
The honour will be bestowed by Her Majesty the Queen at an investiture ceremony in 2016 and we couldn’t be more proud!
David Joseph said:
“It’s a privilege to work in the music industry and there have been many highlights over the years, but being chosen for this honour is an incredible surprise and a very proud moment for me and my family.”
