We’re absolutely thrilled to announce Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity and its Volunteers have been awarded The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service 2018.
The award was created by The Queen in 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of the Queen’s coronation and recognises excellence in voluntary activities carried out by groups in the community and is the MBE for volunteer groups.
The award of The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service 2018 represents a tremendous achievement and we are immensely proud of the recognition that this Award represents for our dedicated group of volunteers. We never underestimate the hard work and tireless dedication each and every one of our volunteers puts in to helping us in our mission to brighten the lives of seriously ill children across the UK.
