A seriously ill dancer enjoyed a day out with a ‘twist’ when she attended an exclusive meet and greet with Kimberly Wyatt, at the launch of her new fragrance ‘Kaydance’ in London. To celebrate its partnership with Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity, The Fragrance Shop invited Erin (12) along with her family to the launch, to meet the star.

Erin, who is currently living with severe Scoliosis – a curvature of the spine, is passionate about dancing, taking it up at the age of three. Not letting her illness get in the way of her love for dancing, the teen even competes in dance competitions, and dances in shows, wearing her back brace. Erin ‘Fox-trotted’ to the front of a queue of fans, who were all waiting to get their hands on Kimberly’s debut signature scent, Erin got the chance to meet the star and get her own ‘Kaydance’ fragrance signed.

Kimberly Wyatt commented: “It was such an honour to meet Erin; I’m very humbled by her impressive attitude and fearless nature when it comes to dancing- she’s got a lot more than just talent! I hope other young performers have as much courage and love for the art as Erin, she is truly inspiring.”

Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity brightens up the lives of seriously ill children in the UK aged 3-18 by granting wishes, granting hospital ward wishes and organising outings and large scale events for seriously ill children, including The Rays of Sunshine Concert.

5p from every transaction made at The Fragrance Shop is donated to Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity to help fund wishes for seriously ill children like Erin. This year, the perfume retailer has raised in excess of £270,000 for the children’s charity and aim to raise in the excess of £300,000 before Christmas.
