Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity grant wishes for six seriously ill children to meet world-famous magician.
LAST WEEK, famous magician, Dynamo, made the wishes of six seriously ill fans come true when he treated them to an exclusive meet and greet. The magic man has been an ambassador for Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity, www.raysofsunshine.org.uk since 2012 and regularly gives up his time to help grants wishes for seriously ill children in the UK.
The exclusive meeting took place at a Frankie and Benny’s in Wembley, where he spent some quality one on one time with the children, showing them some incredible magic tricks, before posing for photos and signing his autograph for them. The children, aged between seven and 18, travelled across the UK to meet their idol.
Amongst them was Coco (8) from London, who is currently living with the effects of a Stroke and Tia-Mae (10) from Strood, Kent who is currently living with a Turners Syndrome, who attended the wish-day with her teacher, Joseph Hopkins who has recently written a book titled Lydia Greenfingers. Proceeds from the sale of each book will go to help Rays of Sunshine grant more magical wishes.
The special day was made possible by Rays of Sunshine’s corporate partner, Frankie & Benny’s frankieandbennys.com. This exciting relationship, which launched in January 2015, sees Frankie & Benny’s work closely with Rays of Sunshine up and down the country to brighten up the lives of brave and deserving children like Coco and Tia-Mae. To date, the restaurant group has raised over £470,000 – that’s a lot of wishes!
