Five of the World’s Top Illusionists Perform Exclusively For Children’s Charity
On Thursday 31st March, the UK’s leading band of mind-blowing illusionists and magicians, the Champions of Magic, took to the stage at The Mermaid, London, to perform for an audience of over 500 seriously ill children and their families, with Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity.
Queen of close-up magic Fay Presto, grand illusionists Young & Strange, master mentalist Alex McAleer and ‘International Stage Magician of the Year’ Edward Hilsum performed incredible feats of mind-reading, stunning close-up, daring large-scale illusions as well as a death-defying, heart stopping finale.
With over 16 million online views between them, plus dozens of awards and legions of devoted fans across the world, the Champions of Magic performed a jam-packed show, providing a magical evening of entertainment and distraction for the audience of seriously ill children and their families.
To make this evening possible, The Champions of Magic, their production design team and The Mermaid have gifted their time, space, and expertise free of charge.
