Little Mix headline the Frankie & Benny’s Rays of Sunshine Concert at the Royal Albert Hall
The Frankie & Benny’s Rays of Sunshine Concert was another memorable evening. On Sunday 7th June, Little Mix, Ne-Yo, Little Mix, Conor Maynard, Ella Eyre, Union J, Luke Friend, Collabro, and Sonna Rele all took to the stage to perform. Alongside this incredible line-up, the Rays of Sunshine Children’s Choir also performed a very special song ‘Bring Me Sunshine’, joined by surprise performers Aston Merrygold and Pixie Lott.
Amongst the audience were 2,000 seriously ill children who had previously had wishes granted by the charity and were provided with an evening of entertainment and distraction. The 2015 concert was sponsored by Frankie & Benny’s which has been supporting Rays of Sunshine since January 2015.
Jane Sharpe, CEO of Rays of Sunshine, commented:
“The Rays of Sunshine Concert is always a memorable evening for our wish children, and this year was no exception! Thanks to our sponsors, Frankie & Benny’s, we were able to give tickets to over 2,000 seriously ill children who all enjoyed a night of entertainment and distractoin from a host of incredible artists including, Ne-Yo, Union J, Ella Eyre, Conor Maynard, Sonna Rele and, of course, the Rays of Sunshine Wish Choir. The Choir definitely stole the show – there wasn’t a dry eye in the house after their inspiring performance.”
