Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity Hosts Party for 400
Christmas came early for seriously ill children and their families in Manchester thanks to Rays of Sunshine, www.raysofsunshine.org.uk.
The Children’s Christmas Party was organised by Rays of Sunshine’s Northern Hospital Liaison Officer, Sally Levy and her team of dedicated Manchester based volunteers and took place at Citylabs which donated the venue. Children were able to put their illness on hold and enjoy a festive fun-filled afternoon which included a mini pantomime, circus skills workshops, magicians and a visit to Santa’s grotto.
The children, who have all previously had wishes granted by the charity, left with early Christmas gifts kindly donated by Sambro, Singleton Trading and Ultimate products, and children from Bradleys Both CP School. The gifts were wrapped with paper supplied by Eurowrap.
After the party one of the guests posted their thanks:
“Thank you Rays of Sunshine for the most amazing afternoon at the Manchester Christmas party. Matilda and her siblings had the most magical afternoon and said it’s the best party they had ever been to.”
